Cancellation | Missed Appointment Policy

 

Our goal is to provide quality media to all our consumers in a timely manner. No-shows, late arrivals, and cancellations inconvenience not only our providers, but our other clients as well. Please be aware of our policy regarding missed or canceled appointments.

 

Appointment Cancellation

When you book your appointment, you are holding a space on our calendar that is no longer available to our other clients. In order to be respectful of your fellow individuals, please call Borland Media customer service as soon as you know you will not be able to make your appointment.

If cancellation is necessary, we require that you call at least 48 hours in advance. Your advanced notice will allow another patient access to that appointment in a timely manner.

 

How to Cancel Your Appointment

If you need to cancel your appointment, please call us at 1(734) 262-5377 between the hours of 9am-5pm Tuesday-Sunday. If necessary, you may leave a detailed voicemail message. We will return your call as soon as possible.

 

Late Cancellations/No-Shows

A cancellation is considered late when the appointment is cancelled less than 48hr’s before the appointed time. A no-show is when a client misses an appointment without cancelling. In either case, the deposit fee will be non refundable.

 

Rescheduling After No-Shows

Any client rescheduling an appointment after a no show will result in an additional 15% on the service charge. Additionally the deposit will be doubled with no refund in the circumstance of a recurring no show. 

 

Grace Period

We know when meeting for the first time it can be hard to find specific locations. Please be advised that you should give yourself plenty of time prior to meeting. All first time clients will be given a 10 minute grace period. Once the 10 minute time frame is up the deposit will be non refundable. 

 

Payments

We require a credit card to hold any appointment. Cancellation fees will be charged to your card on file.

In the event of a true, unavoidable emergency, all or part of your cancellation fee may be applied to future services.

Agreement Policy

When submitting your deposit you are automatically agreeing to all terms held within our policy agreement. 

 

Photo Session Retainer | Session Payment Agreement Policies

I understand that my session is not confirmed until a non-refundable deposit plus 8.7% tax is paid to Borland Media. Retainer is paid ONLY via debit or credit. I understand that my remaining session balance is due at the time of my session. Should the remaining/final balance not be paid my images will not be released. By choosing "I Agree" I understand and agree to the terms and conditions set forth by Borland Media as stated.

 

Release | Copyright Agreement Policies 

I have read and agree to the following statement: I commission Borland Media, to produce media of my business/event/myself and/or my spouse and/or underage children. I hereby grant and understand that Borland Media may use my media (but not limited too) social media/advertisement etc., and there will be no compensation to the above.

 

 

 

Copyright & Policies

As a client of Borland Media, I acknowledge and understand that the media taken by Borland Media, said Producer, are protected by

Federal Copyright Laws. I understand it is ILLEGAL to scan, copy, print or reproduce their media without Borland Media’s permission, and violators of this Federal Law will be subject to its civil and criminal penalties. A limited media RELEASE is supplied with the purchase of my session, along with high resolution digital files. I understand the limited release does not allow publication from chain labs or home or altering any media in any manner. Reproduction does include, downloading, saving to hard-drive, posting on personal websites/blogs/social media only with acknowledgment and authority from said provider. By becoming a client of Borland Media "I Agree" I will honor the above statement.
